Archives Ready for Fall

I was going through some of my archives and realized I never posted this outfit.  Well, the photos definitely are one reason why I postponed them...  It was humid that morning!
Although chilly; very humid.

What better week to post this than this week?  We're sitting in the 40's as a high all week long.  I even busted out my wool coat yesterday.  Luckily, this is not Winter approaching us quickly.  We'll be back in the 50's next week.  Phew...  Just in time for Halloween!

Under the Weather

My mood seems to be dead on with the weather outside right now.
Gloomy, rainy, windy, chilly.

I haven't been feeling all too well as of late, hence my absence.

I'm on a lot of medication, trying to nip this in the butt....

In the meantime,
I'll leave you with this outfit post that should have been posted last week:

It seems fitting with today's weather.

This sweater is indeed too big for me, but it was hard not to pass up...
with it's soft knit and subtle sparkle.
Besides, I feel everyone needs that "oversized, I don't care, I'm comfy" sweater in their closet.
This one is mine.
(One of them anyway, ha ha!)

One Dress, Five Looks

Happy Easter!!

What a day!

My family and I celebrated Easter yesterday,
so today I stayed home and worked on things around the house.

I'm way behind schedule, even though it was a very productive day.

But, see, this post was supposed to be posted yesterday,
in hopes to help any Easter attires.

So go ahead and bookmark it until next year ;)

Please ignore my pasty legs...
I should have thought about a self tanner or maybe some tights before playing dress up
this early in spring :D

The objective is to pick one item and switch it up with different
accessories, clothing items, shoes, etc.

Take a peek!

(I apologize in advance with the overly highlighted photos.. I realized until the very end that I should have been standing elsewhere :D)

Pink on Pink

I thought the time change was only to effect those first few days?
It didn't catch up to me until last week and is continuing into this week...
Blehhhh...
I'm sleeping in until my alarm, I'm dog dead tired and I just want to sleep.

(Random Fact about me:  I'm a morning person.  I'm up well before my alarm starts chirping... Perking, happy, smiling)

Needlesstosay, I've been wearing "feels like I'm wearing pjs" outfits.

Crochet Top:  Lauren Conrad, Kohls (clearance, very recent)

Is spring finally here??
I thought so on Saturday!  It was gorgeous out!
But yesterday and today are gloomy, windy, snowy days.
Either way, these flowers make me think warmer days!!
Debuting a new style to the shop!
I've already started a few more and hope to add them very soon!

First Day of Spring... Brrr

Happy First Day of Spring!
Thank you, Mother Nature,
for the beautiful sunrise as I enjoy my Lucky Charms,
but can we turn the heat up a notch?
High of 20's today?
Really...??

Over the weekend, I went to Kohls.
And I only went to Kohls because I had a coupon for $10 off,
 not using the Kohls charge.
(Whoo-hooo!!!)
Otherwise, M has banned me from that store.
(For now anyway...)
:D

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw the large amount of clothes in my fitting room.

Exhibit A:

I'm a shopper.
(And a firm believer of Retail Therapy.)
But I like to go into the dressing room only once.
I try, anyway.
So I scan all the racks and grab whatever pulls my heart strings.
Luckily, most gets eliminated right away.

Well, I was trying to only leave the store with one item.
But I bought three things.
Clearance.
$10 off.

My point is...

They are all so summery.
Crochet Top by Lauren Conrad
Satin Emerald Green Tank by Daisy Fuentes
Color Block Dress by Apt 9

So, as you can see, Mother Nature, I'm ready to pack the leggings away,
throw the boots in the closet,
hide my sweaters,
and bring out my wedges, sandals, dresses, and tanks.

Hurry along, now!

In the meantime, I'll try to marry my springy dresses with my sweaters & leggings.

Baby Lips

Anyone feeling a little extra green today? ;)

I'm not Irish but I usually done myself in Green River on St. Patty's Day.
(sometimes even with vodka)

With the cold still sticking around, I decided against it.
It is putting me in such a funk.

Although, Friday night was a treat when I visited M on his lunch.
As he was showing me around, he got a call so he rushed a kiss and headed out.
I must admit, it was pretty exhilarating seeing him pass me when I was on my way home.
It made me smile and feel proud.

Saturday consisted of a visit from some of my family.
My niece and nephew decided to hide a few eggs for M since he was off at work.
Thankfully he didn't trip over the one left on the stairs... Since I forgot to remove it after Brayden left.
Whoops!

Sunday was filled with pjs, my sewing machine, and 80's movies.
I then proceeded to text Matt that I want to be surprised with an 80's movie montage.
Boombox over the head.
Cake on the table.
Maybe even detention in a high school.
HA!

Here's an outfit I wore sometime last week.
Ignore my face and poor editing skills, but I really liked all the colors together.

Besides my weekend, I wanted to share with you my obsession over
 BABY LIPS by Maybelline.
I mentioned them quickly in my "Thankful" post on Friday,
but I felt it was needed to give more details.

I am usually a Soft Lips kind of girl.
I feel like I've tried every chapstick that's ever existed.
And find myself disappointed every time.
When Soft Lips came out with their tinted sticks, I was stoked!
I always dream of wearing lipstick but whenever I attempt it, it's off within thirty minutes and I'm drowning my lips with as much chapstick as I can apply.

However, Soft Lips Tinted Sticks did the same thing.
(sad moment)
So I went back to my regular Soft Lips: Cherry.
Mmmmmm....
Then saw advertisement on these babies.
Tinted Baby Lips.
I was skeptical but for under $3 a pop, I decided to give them a whirl.
I.LOVE.THEM!
So when I feel like wearing lipstick, I dab these on.
Don't let the colors scare you.
They are tinted, remember.
So that deep purple on the far right?
It doesn't look like that.
But it definitely makes my natural lip color a few shades darker.
And they are extremely moisturizing!

My favorite is Pink Wink (far left).
But the others are not far behind.

Give them a whirl and let me know what you think!

Hope you had a fantastic weekend!

Tuesdays are Starting a Trend

Seems like Tuesdays are the days for massive snow storms.
In March.
So if you are a bride, planning a winter wedding in the Midwest, screw December and January.
Focus on March.
You're ensured for a "white wedding".

Let's hope work calls for another snow day ;)
